The origins of Grupo Viqueira go back more than 40 years, when its founder, Jose Viqueira Lago, starts up the company Jose Viqueira Lago Construcciones, which builds any type of construction.

In the middle of the 70's he becomes a property developer by creating several companies.

In the year 1988, and after having developed and built the tourist resort "Sotavento Beach Club", the company started its activity in the tourist sector.
